For the last company I worked for, I made a ton of stuff in isometric view. But I never got around to making Big Ben because of the amount of detail in it. I just didn't have enough time. I spent my honeymoon in London, so it will always have a soft spot for me. Although, I hate to admit it, we never made it into Big Ben!!! We only had a week there, and that is definitely not enough time in that beautiful city.

Ahhhh freelance, how I've missed you.

In the 8+ months since I last blogged, I accepted a fulltime job in a social gaming company. Really nice company. But with the games not doing so hot recently, I got laid off last week. (sniff) But my goal was to eventually go back to freelance. Well, there's no time like the present! And as much as I will miss my co-workers I will not miss the commute. An hour minimum each way is not a great way to spend a good chunk of my day. And commuter trains, AKA Bart......don't get me started. So, I think this is a good thing. A Very good thing.

A with a fresh coat of paint in my studio, and a new desk, I am off to work!

And with fresh paint fumes in the air.....this is what I come up with..... I think I should open more windows....

There has already been a mad dash at Target for back to school sales, and I saw Halloween decorations up at Michael's yesterday... Does that mean summer is almost over?? Already??? (sniff)
